Founded in 2009, Shenandoah Business Solutions (SBS) began serving clients in Luray, VA where some of the owner's most fond childhood memories were made. Raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Michael Browning, SBS founder attended the University of Virginia in the late 1980s. After college he was provided an opportunity to travel with a national consulting firm, helping developers maximize land use for profitability.
Upon meeting his soon-to-be wife in Wisconsin, Michael decided to settle there, forging a new career path by utilizing his unique and growing marketing experience, working initially for a family run newspaper company that was sold to a corporate conglomerate several years later. Michael stayed on post-acquisition, tapped to help integrate company operations and internet revenue growth. Serving as a regional director for several years overseeing local advertising for over a dozen community newspapers, he accepted an opportunity to move back to the east coast. A multi-media, family owned company tasked Michael with developing a new corporate web presence including starting the company transition from traditional newspaper, cable, and radio advertising to internet based revenue streams. It was from this role that SBS was born.
The goals were simple. Build a company with qualified professionals that can help business owners achieve their revenue goals utilizing intelligent, proven internet marketing and customer communication strategies. Be direct about a potential client's recipe for success. Be selective when bringing on new clients to assure a "good fit" for everybody involved. Competently provide beneficial solutions for even the most complex requests. Be affordable for those starting out or who have limited needs. Provide reliable service!
